StepGuard was developed by flooring professionals... for flooring professionals. Years of installing, sanding and finishing floors left us painfully aware of the deficiencies of other brands.  Some floor finishes were simply too hazardous during and after application, creating noxious odors and health hazards. Others lacked the durability that a high traffic area needs, leading to frequent refinishing and higher expense. There had to be a better way.

We saw the need for a floor finish that was not only safe for the installer, but also safe for the homeowner... and ultimately safe for the environment.
